The finish is also accompanied by mineral hints of the soils dominated by limestone and clay. On the tongue, this powerful red wine is characterized by an incredibly crisp texture.

Grant Burge Benchmark Shiraz is a full-bodied, red in colour with hints of purple. It has a nose of ripe plums, liquorice, vanilla and wood spice. The palate is full of sweet fleshy fruit flavours and soft tannins, with plum and vanilla flavours with good persistence. Pair with sausages and mash with onion gravy, red meats. chargrilled vegetables.
