A very rich, multifaceted whisky, a rich palette, an abundance of shades and undertones, combining fruity, woody and mineral beginnings. Soft, enveloping, abundance of velvety woody tones, slight bitterness of the bark, sweet creamy caramel, candy tones, leather goods, sharp mineral motifs, oiliness, green and red apples.
RICHLAND CABERNET SAUVIGNON
Deep purple colour, with vibrant red hues. This Cabernet Sauvignon is an attractive fruit driven red, with a full bouquet of sweet berries and violets, with hints of subtle French oak. With ripe berry characters that flow smoothly onto the palate, with spices and vanilla. The soft, chewy tannins and well balanced acidity, make for a delightful, long finish.
RICHLAND CHARDONNAY
Richland Chardonnay is a light, golden straw colour, with bright green hues white wine. With a fruit driven bouquet, that displays ripe stone fruit of apricot and peach and hints of floral and toasty oak aromas. Well balanced acidity and smooth, light tannins. With a fresh, dry, crisp and clean palate of buttery ferment characters, creamy yeast and vanillin oak. A soft, well-rounded and long finish.
RICHLAND MERLOT
Richland Merlot is deep garnet with red hues. A soft, supple red with a fruit driven bouquet of ripe, cherry, plum and violet with cedar overtones. The flavoursome palate of plum and sweet fruit blend nicely with vanillin oak. This is a delightful, medium weight wine which finishes long with soft, firm tannins. Excellent to drink now or cellar for the next 2 to 5 years.
RICHLAND PINK MOSCATO
RICHLAND PINOT GRIGIO
This outstanding Richland Pinot Grigio is pale straw in colour, ascending flavours of pear & fresh apple puree entwined with kaffir lime leaf. The palate has scents of fresh bright red apple with sweet pear blossoms complete with a zingy acid drive and full flavoured finish make this an alluring wine.
RICHLAND SHIRAZ
A fine, full bodied Shiraz with tastes of rich black fruits and spice, aromas of richly ripened dark black berries with earthy tones and some mild spices. Well balanced, juicy, with smooth tannins. A wonderful fruit infusion on the palate, and a very pleasing and consistent nose. Very long on fruit power and length. Enjoyable wine packed with freshness.
TAYLORS WAKEFIELD ESTATE MERLOT
At release, distinct aromas of black cherries and ripe strawberries abound with secondary spice, sweet mocha and cigar box characters evident. At release, this wine is medium to full-bodied with lush red berry, plum and cherry fruit characters. The fruit flavours are balanced by undertones of creamy mocha, spice & subtle savoury characters. The palate has a soft, velvety texture with grainy tannins through the mid-palate and a long, persistence to finish.
