COMPASS BOX NO NAME 2

RM1,199.00
A serious, uncompromising smoky experience. Built around an elegantly smoky Islay malt matured in refill Sherry butts, the second peated whisky we have used comes from the Isle of Skye. No Name, No. 2 will transport you straight to the peat bogs and malt kilns of Scotland’s West Coast. Weighty on the palate, hugely complex and concentrated, No Name, No. 2 also introduces a degree of delicacy. Our second whisky in the series offers an elegant mix of dried fruit notes, reminiscent of red cherries, and even a floral quality.

GLEN GRANT ARBORALIS

RM269.00
Glen Grant Arboralis is a bright, golden single malt Scotch whisky aged in ex-Bourbon and Spanish Sherry oak casks. Arboralis means “light from within the trees” which is in recognition of the casks that are sheltered by the tall trees lining the Victorian Gardens in The Glen Grant Distillery. This fine single malt has a soft aroma of fruit and honey, with notes of creamy toffee and ripe pears, finishing with a long, satisfying hint of delicate spice.

GLENDRONACH 12

RM359.00
This superb richly sherried single malt is matured for at least 12 years in a combination of the finest Spanish Pedro Ximenez and Oloroso sherry casks. The GlenDronach 12 year old Original is a sweet, creamy dram bottled at 43% ABV and natural in colour. The palate has fruits, peels, buttery. Pain au chocolat, a little marmalade on toast before becoming firmer and nuttier with spiced raisins. For the finish there would be smoky toffee and nut brittle.

GLENDRONACH 21

RM1,150.00
A 21 year old Glendronach released in 2011, and aged in a mix of sherry casks (Oloroso and sweet Pedro Ximenez dessert sherry). The result is really very good indeed. The palate has golden syrup, soft, juicy raisins, tangy oak notes, peach, cherry blossom, cocoa and honeydew melon. Interestingly the finish has sherry tones lead the finish, with a hint of sulphur, chocolate, luscious fruit and pepper.

GLENDRONACH BATCH 8 CASK STRENGTH

RM408.00
This wonderfully sherried Highlander is the eighth batch of the Cask Strength series from the GlenDronach Distillery. It's been matured in Spanish oak Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks, before it was bottled at a warming 61% ABV. Very chocolatey, jammy stuff, great for an evening sipper. The finish has a fresh espresso, with gooey chocolate pudding and cigar box finish.

GLENDRONACH PORT WOOD

RM400.00
Following on from its Peated Port Wood Finish, GlenDronach have released another sumptuous single malt that has enjoyed a rest in Port casks. This particular expression is a 10 year old whisky, initally aged in Pedro Ximénez and Oloroso sherry casks before being finished in Port pipes from Portugal's Douro valley. It has brandied cherries, blackcurrant and chocolate digestive biscuits on the palate. For the finish, it has honey, biscotti, raisin and orange zest.

HAYMANS LONDON DRY GIN

RM325.00
Juniper at first on the nose, quite classic, but a structured spice backbone creates depth and complexity. Angelica, coriander and a bit of citrus. The palate has a distinctive creaminess to it, with a thick, rich viscosity. The base spirit itself has a nice texture, but it’s the flavors which make it. First a bit peppery, with juniper and lemony citrus fading into a long rich finish of pine-laden juniper, orange zest, pumpkin pie spice and licorice adding a hint of faint sweetness. The botanicals are richly colored, and balanced with a slight deference to citrus; however, still it feels nicely crafted and classic in construction.

HAYMANS LONDON OLD TOM GIN

RM320.00
Hints of playful pine immediately greet you on the nose.  Muscular lemon oil builds out most of the aroma, with a dash of licorice root for good measure. The palate is creamy and unctuous. Early on citrus oils and mild sweetness hold court, before the flavor unfolds. Hayman’s Old Tom Gin segues seamlessly into juniper custard with a hint of baking spice, and then into earthy almost chewy licorice root.
